Island Happenings:
Due to our unique island geography,
general meetings are held three times a year on the fourth Saturday of January, April and October. More specific information can be found on the "Calendar " page. Newsletters are published prior to each meeting and provide details regarding time, place, and program for the meeting. The deadline for newsletter inclusion is the 15th of the month prior to the meeting.

SJCT Guild Study Groups are small self-led learning groups. Meetings take place on an on-going basis.  Each group sets its own schedule and agenda.

All Islands - "The Ferry-go-round"  ON HOLD

  • Textiles "Ferry-go-Round" meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month on the Inter-island Ferry. Email for more info,

Orcas Island

  • A Spinning/Textile Group meets every Monday night @ 7 pm at a private studio in the Warm Valley area. Email for more info
  • The Orcas Textile Group - ON HOLD
    meets the 4th Wednesday of the month. 1pm - 4pm at Goldeneye Farm in Olga. All textiles are welcome. Email for more info,

Lopez Island

  • A Weavers group meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month, 9am - 11am. We meet in different homes. Email for more info,

San Juan Island

  • A Spinning group meets the 3rd Thursday of the month from 1pm - 4pm in the Library.
  • A Weaving group meets the 1st Monday of the month at 1pm in Friday Harbor. Email for more info,
  • The SJI group meets the 2nd Thursday from 1pm - 4pm in the Library for any and all projects. Email for more info,
