This standardized framework defines and scopes supply chain tiers, offering a consistent classification of products and processes from raw material production to finished goods and distribution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By addressing inconsistencies in terminology and measurement, the taxonomy establishes a common language to streamline collaboration, enhance transparency, and foster consistency across the industry. For example, it can help allocate greenhouse gas emissions more consistently across supply chain tiers, supporting accurate and aligned sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n
