We encourage all interested future \u201cbenchmarkers\u201d (fashion, apparel and textile brands\/retailers, suppliers, and manufacturers) to <a href=\"https:\/\/mci.textileexchange.org\/participate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">find out more here and register now<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are delighted to say that the Material Change Index now receives over 300 entries each year, making it the authoritative program for raw materials management and performance reporting in our industry.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year brings small modifications to the framework only. This report will provide key takeaways from the 2021 benchmark, an analysis of trends over the past three years and a look forward to reaching critical goals for raw materials, climate, and nature.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Be prepared.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Material Change Index 2022: <\/strong>The 2022 Material Change Index (MCI) survey submission window opens in June.\u202fDates for the &#8220;Getting Started&#8221; workshops and other learning opportunities will be posted on the Companies Creating Material Change <a href=\"https:\/\/hub.textileexchange.org\/communities\/community-home\/cfmb?CommunityKey=3d0825f0-efa0-477c-94bd-2c3f379c846c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">community hub<\/a>.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Biodiversity Benchmark:\u202f<\/strong>The biodiversity question-set will be integrated into the 2022 survey. Companies planning to complete the Biodiversity Benchmark will receive a &#8220;progress card&#8221;, similar to the approach in previous years.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Fiber Challenges:\u202f<\/strong>Signatories to the Textile Exchange 2025 Sustainable Cotton Challenge and Recycled Polyester Challenge are required to complete the &#8220;Progress Tracker&#8221; for Cotton and Polyester, respectively.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Be supported.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Getting Started Workshops<\/strong>: We will be hosting workshops in late June\/early July to help all new and returning participants get familiar with the program and changes for 2022.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Drop-in clinics<\/strong>: Our group-led \u2013 and very popular &#8211; Drop-in Clinics will be back with a new \u201ctheme based\u201d twist.
