Under our accreditation system, each certification body is independently accredited by an authorized accreditation body. Steps to getting accredited<\/h2>\n

While we move to a unified standard<\/a>, we\u2019ve suspended new applications from certification bodies. But this doesn\u2019t apply to existing authorized CBs looking to expand their scope.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Step 1<\/strong>
\nDetermine which accreditation body you will work with. We recommend that certification bodies reach out to their preferred accreditation body before applying to us.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>
\nBefore the accreditation body can begin their work, you need to submit a completed application to us for approval using the ASR-206 Certification Body Application Form.<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/strong>
\nUpon receipt of the application, we\u2019ll issue an invoice for the application fee. See the ASR-107 Certification Fee Structure. Payment of this fee is due upon receipt of the invoice.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/strong>
\nUpon receipt of payment, we can start the review of the application. Note that applications won\u2019t be reviewed until payment has been received, and that reviews occur only periodically.<\/p>\n

Step 5<\/strong>
\nOnce an application is complete and the certification body has shown it has the right qualifications, we\u2019ll provisionally accept the application.<\/p>\n

Step 6<\/strong>
\nUpon recommendation from the accreditation body, we\u2019ll typically issue a limited grace period to a certification body which is in the accreditation process.<\/p>\n

We consider applications from other internationally recognized accreditation bodies such as signatories of the IAF Multilateral Agreement. Accreditation bodies should submit the ASR-207 Accreditation Body Application Form and supporting documentation for consideration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
